PLANT SOURCE: Plant source: Amaranthus spp
Amaranthaceae (Amaranth family)
RED SPINACH EXTRACT
PRIMABENE® Amaranth Extract, also known as "Oxystorm®", is a superfood that can enhance physical performance and fitness through improved energy metabolism.
Oxystorm® is rich in nitrate (9–10%) and potassium (8–14%). These two substances increase blood circulation and optimize oxygen supply. Other ingredients include amino acids (proteins), polyphenols, and fiber. PRIMABENE® Amaranth Extract contains no sugar or oxalates. It has high bioavailability and acts as a natural free radical scavenger.
Uses:
Regeneration support - Supports the removal of metabolic waste products, which can lead to improved muscle relaxation and recovery after exercise
Improvement of energy metabolism - Increases the nitrate levels in the body, which can improve energy metabolism. Oxystorm® promotes blood circulation and prevents fatigue
Regeneration and muscle building – Amaranth is rich in protein and important for the post-exercise recovery phase and muscle building and can thus enhance performance
Sustainable presence of nitric oxide (NO) - Has a blood flow-promoting effect on the vessels.
Biohacking - The increase in NO leads to, among other things, a reduction in resting blood pressure, better circulation and resilience, as well as an improvement in performance during physical activity.
A new clinical study* confirmed that nitrate from amaranth leads to a significant increase in plasma nitrite, thereby increasing nitric oxide levels. The physiological effects associated with such nitric oxide increases include, among other things, a reduction in resting blood pressure, improved circulation and exercise tolerance, as well as enhanced performance during exercise or other physical activity.
Nitrates and nitrites relax all types of smooth muscle cells. These compounds support energy conversion in human cells, which helps prevent rapid fatigue during training.
