✨ Why a Summer Spray?
The skin is heavily stressed in the summer due to sun, heat, and sweat. Classic creams can quickly feel too heavy, while pure hydrosols often provide too little rehydration. A light spray with cooling and soothing floral waters is the perfect solution here:
- Refreshes and hydrates
- Soothes sun-exposed or sensitive skin
- Has an aromatherapeutic balancing effect
- Can be sprayed over makeup
🧴 The Formula – Simple, Natural & Effective
Ingredients for 100 ml:
- 50 ml peppermint hydrosol (cooling & invigorating)
- 40 ml rose hydrosol (moisturizing & harmonizing)
- 10 ml plant-based glycerin (for an extra dose of moisture)
- 5 drops of lavender essential oil (soothing & regenerative)
- Optional: 10–15 drops of solubol or some alcohol (to help distribute the oil)
- Optional: Natural preservative like potassium sorbate, if you want to store the spray longer
💡 Tip: For sensitive skin or children, simply omit the essential oil.
🛠Instructions – How It's Done:
1. Mix lavender essential oil well with the solubilizer (e.g., Solubol).
2. Mix peppermint and rose hydrosol together with the glycerin in a glass or beaker.
3. Stir in the oil mixture and shake everything well.
4. Pour into a clean spray bottle (preferably made of amber glass).
5. Store in the refrigerator – this keeps the spray longer and remains wonderfully fresh.
