Neroli Moisturizing Serum

Pamper your skin with a homemade, natural serum – gentle, regenerating, and perfect for daily care. This DIY project not only brings freshness to the bathroom but also a good feeling from doing it yourself.

What you need:
Ingredients:

20 ml rose hydrosol – moisturizing and soothing
0.3 g xanthan gum – provides a gel-like consistency
5 ml jojoba oil – gently nourishing and regulates sebum production
1 ml plant-based glycerin (optional) – for additional moisture
5 drops of essential neroli oil – soothing and regenerating
3 drops of vitamin E – antioxidant and protective for oils

Equipment:

Disinfected brown glass bottle with pipette or pump dispenser (30 ml)
Stirring or beaker glass
Mini whisk or stirring rod
Precision scale or measuring spoon
Funnel

Preparation in 3 steps:

Slowly stir xanthan into the rose hydrosol. Mix well and let swell for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add jojoba oil, glycerin (optional), neroli oil, and vitamin E and stir thoroughly.
Pour into the disinfected glass bottle, close well, and shake before use.

Application and tips:

Apply 3 to 5 drops to the freshly cleansed, still slightly moist face every morning and massage gently.
Store in the refrigerator.
Without preservatives, the serum is about 5 to 7 days shelf-stable.

Recommendation: Preferably prepare small amounts fresh regularly.

Refreshing Summer Spray

Refreshing Summer Spray

This light summer spray with hydrosols and essential lavender oil is perfect for hot days. It has a cooling, moisturizing, and soothing effect—without any oily residues. Ideal for face and body, on the go or after sunbathing.

What you need:
Ingredients (for 100 ml):
• 50 ml peppermint hydrosol (cooling & invigorating)
• 40 ml rose hydrosol (moisturizing & harmonizing)
• 10 ml vegetable glycerin (optional, for extra care)
• 5 drops of lavender essential oil (soothing, regenerating)
• Optional: Solubol or alcohol (as a solubilizer for the oil)
• Optional: Natural preservatives like potassium sorbate or Leucidal
Preparation:
1. Pre-dissolve the essential oil with Solubol or a little alcohol.
2. Mix hydrosols and glycerin in a clean container.
3. Slowly stir in the oil mixture and mix well.
4. Pour into a spray bottle (100 ml).
5. Store in the refrigerator and shake well before use.
Application:
• As a face spray for on the go or in between.
• To soothe after sunbathing.
• Also for the décolleté and neck – ideal in summer.

Soothing eye mask with clay & rose water

Soothing eye mask with clay & rose water

Gentle care for tired summer eyes

You will need:
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp white clay (kaolin) – particularly gentle & soothing for the skin
• 1–2 tsp rose water – refreshing, cooling, anti-inflammatory
• Optional: 1 drop of vitamin E oil or a splash of aloe vera gel for extra care
Preparation:
1. Mix clay with rose water to form a spreadable, creamy paste.
2. Do not apply the mask directly to the eye, but carefully on the skin below the eyes or on two cotton pads.
3. Leave on for 10–15 minutes – relax during this time, preferably lying down.
4. Gently remove with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Afterwards: Apply a splash of rose water or a cooling eye gel.

Tip:
This mask is ideal for sensitive skin – it reduces swelling, soothes and provides a fresh skin feeling around the eyes.
