Neroli Moisturizing Serum

Pamper your skin with a homemade, natural serum – gentle, regenerating, and perfect for daily care. This DIY project not only brings freshness to the bathroom but also a good feeling from doing it yourself.

What you need:
Ingredients:

20 ml rose hydrosol – moisturizing and soothing
0.3 g xanthan gum – provides a gel-like consistency
5 ml jojoba oil – gently nourishing and regulates sebum production
1 ml plant-based glycerin (optional) – for additional moisture
5 drops of essential neroli oil – soothing and regenerating
3 drops of vitamin E – antioxidant and protective for oils

Equipment:

Disinfected brown glass bottle with pipette or pump dispenser (30 ml)
Stirring or beaker glass
Mini whisk or stirring rod
Precision scale or measuring spoon
Funnel

Preparation in 3 steps:

Slowly stir xanthan into the rose hydrosol. Mix well and let swell for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add jojoba oil, glycerin (optional), neroli oil, and vitamin E and stir thoroughly.
Pour into the disinfected glass bottle, close well, and shake before use.

Application and tips:

Apply 3 to 5 drops to the freshly cleansed, still slightly moist face every morning and massage gently.
Store in the refrigerator.
Without preservatives, the serum is about 5 to 7 days shelf-stable.

Recommendation: Preferably prepare small amounts fresh regularly.
