PRIMABENE® White Clay is mined in France and is a very fine clay, also known as kaolin, Bolus Alba, or porcelain clay. This white clay consists of a potassium silicate compound and is iron-free, which gives it its characteristic color. It has a high kaolinite content and is characterized by its fine-grained structure.
Kaolin has a strong sorption capacity and is excellent as a base for masks, cleansing pastes, scrubs, as well as face and body powders. Additionally, kaolin is ideal for stabilizing emulsions.
