PRIMABENE® Organic Rice Germ Oil is sourced from certified organic cultivation and is obtained by gentle cold pressing of the germ and bran (silver skin) separated during rice processing from Oryza sativa L. (Poaceae). This oil, also known as rice bran oil, is characterised by its yellowish-green colour and distinctive aroma.
PRIMABENE® Organic Rice Germ Oil has a balanced fatty acid profile comprising oleic acid, linoleic acid and palmitic acid. It is also rich in valuable constituents such as gamma-oryzanol, tocotrienols, tocopherols and squalene. Gamma-oryzanol in particular is attributed with antioxidant properties that contribute to health and help neutralise free radicals.
