PRIMABENE® Castor Oil BIO is obtained through gentle cold pressing of the seeds of the evergreen Ricinus communis shrub. The seeds contain 40-50% oil. The extracted oil is colorless to light yellow and has a characteristic, mild scent.

The seeds have an oil content of 40-50%. The cold-pressed castor oil is colorless to light yellow. It has a species-specific scent. The main components of castor oil include ricinoleic acid (88.2%), oleic acid (about 4%), linoleic acid (4.5%), stearic acid (1.3%), palmitic acid (1.2%), and other fatty acids.
