PRIMABENE® Evening Primrose Oil BIO is obtained from the seeds of Oenothera species, particularly Oenothera biennis L. and Oenothera erythrosepala Borb., through cold pressing. It is particularly rich in linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid (8-12%) and is therefore highly valued in naturopathy as a dietary supplement. The oil has a yellow to yellow-green color with a nutty aroma and mild flavor.
