Stevia Fluid is a low-calorie, healthy alternative to conventional sugar and sweeteners. Stevia consists mainly of the diterpene glycoside stevioside. Steviosides have approximately 300 times the sweetness of sugar. 5 drops of Stevia Fluid correspond to about 1 sugar cube.

Stevia, also known as sweet herb, is a mint-like plant native to the border region between Paraguay and Brazil. For centuries, the indigenous peoples of Brazil and Paraguay, especially the Guaraní Indians, have used Stevia rebaudiana both as a sweetener and as a remedy. In their language, they call it ka'a he'ê, which means "sweet herb," and use it to sweeten their mate tea.
