It is often compared to cocoa butter or shea butter, but it has a lower melting point, giving it a pleasant, smooth texture and better spreadability.
Compared to other butters, Cupuaçu butter has an exceptionally high water-binding capacity of 240%, making it particularly effective as an emulsifier.
