PRIMABENE® Stevia Dulce is a high-quality liquid extract of stevia without alcohol and is a low-calorie, healthy alternative to regular sugar and sweeteners. Stevia consists primarily of the diterpene glycoside stevioside. Steviosides have approximately 300 times the sweetness of sugar. 

Stevia, also known as sweet herb, is a mint-like plant native to the border region between Paraguay and Brazil. For centuries, the indigenous peoples of Brazil and Paraguay, particularly the Guaraní Indians, have used Stevia rebaudiana both as a sweetener and as a medicinal remedy. In their language, they call it ka'a he'ê, which means "sweet herb," and use it to sweeten their mate tea.

We currently source our raw material exclusively from a cooperative in Paraguay to support the indigenous population and promote sustainable farming practices.
