The aromatic oil not only enhances dishes but is also extremely healthy. It is rich in alpha- and beta-linolenic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid, and due to this favorable fatty acid composition, it has a positive effect on blood lipid levels. Poppy seed oil has only limited shelf life.
