PRIMABENE® Castor Oil BIO is gently cold-pressed from the seeds of the evergreen Ricinus communis shrub. The seeds contain 40–50% oil. The extracted oil is colorless to pale yellow and has a characteristic, mild scent.

The seeds have an oil content of 40–50%. The cold-pressed castor oil is colorless to pale yellow. It has a characteristic odor. The main components of castor oil include ricinoleic acid (88.2%), oleic acid (approximately 4%), linoleic acid (4.5%), stearic acid (1.3%), palmitic acid (1.2%), and other fatty acids.
