PRIMABENE® refined shea butter, also known as karité butter, is extracted from the seeds of the karité tree. This high-quality shea butter is characterized by its slightly yellowish color, delicately buttery texture, and subtle, natural fragrance. With a melting point between 28 and 45 °C, it serves as a nourishing consistency agent in numerous cosmetic products. Due to its high content of unsaponifiable matter (6-8%), it offers intensive care and also contains a natural sun protection factor of approximately SPF 3, as well as allantoin, vitamins A and E.
Note: PRIMABENE® refined shea butter is a biological natural product and may therefore vary slightly in scent and color. During filling, it may develop a grainy consistency (polymorphism) caused by temperature differences during cooling. This does not affect the quality. Simply reheat and cool quickly to make the butter solid, smooth, and homogeneous again. Not intended for consumption.
