PRIMABENE® refined shea butter, also known as karité butter, is extracted from the seeds of the karité tree. This high-quality shea butter is characterized by its slightly yellowish color, delicately buttery texture, and subtle, natural fragrance. With a melting point between 28 and 45 °C, it serves as a nourishing consistency agent in numerous cosmetic products. Due to its high content of unsaponifiable matter (6-8%), it offers intensive care and also contains a natural sun protection factor of approximately SPF 3, as well as allantoin, vitamins A and E.

Note: PRIMABENE® refined shea butter is a biological natural product and may therefore vary slightly in scent and color. During filling, it may develop a grainy consistency (polymorphism) caused by temperature differences during cooling. This does not affect the quality. Simply reheat and cool quickly to make the butter solid, smooth, and homogeneous again.
