PRIMABENE® refined mango butter is known for its regenerating and replenishing properties, making it an excellent choice for skin hydration and strengthening the skin barrier.
The skin feels wonderfully smooth and silky after application. Due to its antioxidant properties, it can also help reduce damage caused by free radicals and thus prevent premature skin aging.
Due to its nourishing and moisturizing properties, PRIMABENE® refined mango butter is an excellent alternative to paraffin. Furthermore, due to its lower melting point (33 to 38 degrees Celsius), it is also used as a substitute for cocoa butter, e.g., in ointments or suppositories. Not intended for consumption.
Refined mango butter has a pale yellow color, a mild scent, and is rich in carotene, the precursor of vitamin A (retinol). PRIMABENE® refined mango butter consists mainly of stearic and oleic acid (approx. 75-85%). It is used in the cosmetics industry as a light, consistency-giving lipid component, particularly for dry skin and very dry hair.
