PRIMABENE® Lanolin, also known as wool wax, is a versatile natural product composed of a complex mixture of wax esters, alcohols, free fatty acids, and hydrocarbons. Although it is insoluble in water, it can absorb multiple times its own weight in water.
PRIMABENE® Lanolin is low in pesticides and has a melting point of approximately 40°C. In cosmetic formulations, it serves both as a consistency agent and an emulsifier, offering intensive nourishing properties.
